Bad Ankle Commute
Late for the train, I elected to bike the whole commute, 15 miles, around 33 degrees, dusting of snow. I had twisted my ankle a few days ago, but the ride didn't seem to aggravate it much. The winter bike is all about intertia, so we won't talk about how long the ride took.

Back Bay and Back
Goretex trail running shoes are the best! Today I biked the 3 miles from Brookline to Back Bay Station at 6am. It was 31 degrees and a few flakes were stinging my face on the way. Early morning Christmas Eve traffic was light. There was enough slush and stuff along the edge of the road to keep me pretty much taking up a lane.
They kicked us out early from work and I caught the 12:30pm train back from Rt. 128 Station out in Westwood. This train stops at Ruggles, which is closer to Brookline than Back Bay, so I got off there. At 37 degrees, the 2 miles home was pretty sloppy.
